Google announces Bard A.I. in response to ChatGPT.

Google on Monday announced an artificial intelligence chatbot technology called Bard that the company will begin rolling out in the coming weeks. Bard will compete directly with rival ChatGPT.

What is Google BARD?

Google Bard is an AI-powered chatbot that can respond to various inquiries in a conversational manner, similar to ChatGPT

Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world's knowledge with the power, intelligence and creativity of our large language models,” Pichai wrote.

• It draws on information from the web to provide fresh, high-quality responses.”

For the AI enthusiastic, Google Bard is currently not available for testing to the public, but selected users have access.

But hopefully we also can use just like the ChatGPT Google is releasing a "lightweight model version of LaMDA," which requires significantly less computing power.

Will Google Bard be free?

Google has not detailed pricing for Bard. However, it's safe to assume that the company will offer a free version of the AI chatbot because it has a long history of offering free AI-powered services and tools.

Bard is seemingly Google's answer to ChatGPT.
